Our Mission
Charitable Foundation Rokada supports people and communities in crisis and recovery, creating conditions for development, integration, and equal opportunity. At the same time, our team works to ensure that assistance goes beyond responding to immediate needs, evolving into systemic solutions that strengthen community resilience and drive long-term development.
We:

• support communities so they are equipped not only to respond to today's challenges, but to sustain their own development going forward..
Four core humanitarian principles guide the Foundation's work:
Humanity: Human suffering must be addressed wherever it is found. The purpose of humanitarian action is to protect life and health and ensure respect for the individual.
Neutrality: Humanitarian organizations must not take sides in hostilities or engage in controversies of a political, racial, religious, or ideological nature.
Impartiality: Humanitarian action must be carried out on the basis of need alone, giving priority to the most urgent cases of distress and making no distinctions on the basis of nationality, race, gender, religion, class, or political opinion.
Independence: Humanitarian action must remain independent of the political, economic, military, or other objectives that any actor may hold with regard to the areas where it is carried out.
The Foundation's work spans the following areas:
- • comprehensive support for internally displaced persons, returnees, veterans, people with disabilities, older people, women, children, and large or low-income families affected by the war, as well as refugees and asylum seekers;
- • emergency assistance and rebuilding of housing damaged or destroyed by the war;
- • promoting inclusive practices and social cohesion in war-affected communities;
- • development of physical and social infrastructure – from children's spaces and resilience hubs to barrier-free solutions in communities and sites hosting displaced people, along with social services designed around the needs of vulnerable groups;
- • strengthening the capacity of social service providers through training, technical support, and more;
- • social assistance and case management;
- • psychological support for adults and children;
- • legal aid;
- • gender equality and safety (GBV);
- • systematic monitoring and analytical research that inform advocacy, program planning, and real-time adjustment of activities.
