The research was conducted within the framework of the Foundation's activities as an implementing partner of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine, which aims to support internally displaced persons, the affected population and other vulnerable categories of citizens.
The views expressed in this study are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official policy of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
This study examines the problems of functioning of crisis rooms and shelters for victims of domestic and/or gender-based violence in Volyn, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.
The study contains conclusions and recommendations for improving access to services for victims by increasing the number of crisis rooms, shelters and day centers, as well as providing them with adequate resources and funding. It is proposed to more actively inform the population about the possibilities of receiving assistance. The importance of professional training for professionals working with such cases, as well as the introduction of emotional support programs for them, is also emphasized.

This analytical note explores the issue of accessibility for people with disabilities and low- mobility groups in Khmelnytskyi Oblast. The note is based on the results of research conducted by the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, the "Barrier-Free" NGO, and the "Rokada" Charitable Foundation with the support of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Branch Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities.
The Rokada Charitable Foundation is an implementing partner of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine and has been operating for over 20 years. Until February 2022, the Foundation's team consisted of twenty people who helped refugees from more than forty countries to settle in Ukraine: Afghanistan, Sudan, Syria, etc.
On February 24, 2022, everything changed: for Ukrainians, for refugees, for Rokada. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, based on 20 years of experience and support from international organizations, our Foundation has developed a network of regional offices in 14 regions of the country. Today, hundreds of specialists help the affected population, internally displaced persons and asylum seekers on a daily basis.
