A safe school environment: in Kharkiv region, Rokada brought teachers and lyceum students together for training
Teachers and students of the Valky Maselskyi Lyceum in Kharkiv region took part in trainings by Rokada psychologist Inna Kisil. The adults discussed a safe educational environment, while the students learned self-awareness and respect for others.
“A child cannot learn if they feel unsafe. And a teacher cannot give students a sense of security if they are exhausted and do not notice their own emotions. That is why we worked with both sides. When adults can respond calmly and children respect each other, there is less room for bullying and violence at school,” explains Inna Kisil.
Free psychological, legal and social support is available from Rokada specialists in Kharkiv region: +380671209203.
The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
