In Kharkiv region, educators worked on techniques for creating a psychologically safe environment

Rokada psychologist Inna Kisil held a training for teachers of Lyceum No. 5 in Berestyn, Kharkiv region. They talked about psychologically safe interaction, preventing violent patterns of behaviour and recognising risk situations in time. Special attention was paid to gender-based violence – its forms, signs and where to turn for help.

“Teachers spend a lot of time with children every day and are often the first to notice that something is wrong with a child. That is why it is so important that teachers can recognise signs of violence, communicate safely and know where to refer a person for professional help. It is this attentiveness that creates an environment where everyone feels protected,” stresses Inna Kisil.

The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
