Psychologists from civil society organisations and charitable foundations in Sumy pooled their experience and knowledge. They discussed challenges and modern practices in mental health.
Rokada gender-based violence psychologist Tetiana Matviienko presented the Foundation’s work and highlighted the procedure for survivors of violence to seek help.
“Such formats of cooperation with colleagues help not only professionally, when we discuss practical cases and effective approaches to working with different groups of affected people. They are also important for coordinating efforts between organisations and strengthening the professional community of psychologists to improve the quality of help in wartime,” stresses the Rokada specialist.
Colleagues from seven organisations working in the region joined the event.
The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
