Освітяни Сумщини на заході «Рокади» та поліції про домашнє насильство

In Sumy region, Rokada and the police continue to inform educators about domestic violence

As part of the cooperation between the Rokada Charitable Foundation and the Patrol Police Department in Sumy region, educators in the region are receiving comprehensive information about gender-based violence and procedures for responding to it.

“This time we worked together at the Romny Centre for Professional Development of Teachers. We talked about the main forms and manifestations of gender-based and domestic violence, signs of psychological pressure and control, their impact on survivors’ emotional state, and how people who have experienced violence can get help and support,” says Rokada psychologist Tetiana Matviienko, stressing that cooperation with law enforcement raises awareness and gives teachers practical tools for working with children and families where there may be a risk of domestic violence.

The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
