Residents of the Bezdryk community in Sumy region learned to recognise warning signs of sexual violence
The workshop covered topics ranging from persistent harassment and manipulative behaviour to coercion and psychological pressure, as well as recognition, prevention and support.
“Particular emphasis was placed on how to recognise warning signs, where to turn for help and what support resources are available to people who have experienced gender-based violence,” notes Rokada GBV specialist Olena Tykhonova.
The awareness-raising campaign continues within the project implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
