Лекція «Рокади» та поліції з протидії домашньому насильству в Лебедині

Rokada and the police organised a lecture on countering domestic violence in Lebedyn

A lecture on countering domestic violence for parents of children attending the inclusive resource centre in Lebedyn, Sumy region, was organised by Rokada psychologist Tetiana Matviienko and representatives of the public relations unit of the regional Patrol Police Department, Liudmyla Oliinyk and Maryna Lysenko.

They discussed manifestations of gender-based and domestic violence, signs of psychological pressure, response mechanisms and available support services.

“Such cooperation is very useful for audiences: on our side, we talk about the essence of the problem and creating a safe environment, while law enforcement officers give clear procedures for contacting the police and explain how cases of domestic violence are handled and the legal mechanisms for protecting survivors,” notes Tetiana Matviienko, adding that cooperation with the regional police will continue and joint lectures will be held in other communities as well.

The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
