Rokada held a cybersecurity workshop in the Zmiiv community

Rokada gender-based violence specialist Svitlana Tkachenko explained to students and teachers of the lyceum in Borova, Zmiiv community, Kharkiv region, what cyberbullying is and how to counter it.

The workshop also covered online blackmail, sexting, cyberstalking and more.

“Both children and adults need to understand how to behave safely online, how to protect personal data and what digital hygiene should look like. After all, there are many risks of becoming a target of online harassment or fraud. So knowing how to recognise signs of dangerous behaviour and respond to threats in time can be a great help in modern life,” notes Svitlana Tkachenko.

The specialist also focused on what to do in case of online threats and where to turn for help.

The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
