Rokada held a workshop on countering gender-based violence for educators of the Romny community

Rokada psychologist Tetiana Matviienko told staff of educational institutions in the Romny community of Sumy region about the types of gender-based violence, how to counter it and where to turn in case of danger.

“Our campaign to prevent and counter gender-based violence continues. Educational institutions are also in focus. The task is to explain to audiences of different ages how important it is to know their rights, to understand how violence is disguised and what to do in case of danger,” the psychologist notes.

Educators from almost ten schools and kindergartens of the community joined the workshop.

The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
