Rokada Foundation Wins Six Golden Flipchart Awards

One first place, three second places, and two third places were awarded to Rokada projects in the Golden Flipchart competition, based on expert evaluations and online community voting. The foundation received the awards during a forum held in Ternopil.

1st place, Project of the Year nomination based on the results of the expert evaluation, 3rd based on the results of the online voting. Supporting Host Communities: Creating Accessible Conditions for Population Evacuation Project covered Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi, and Kirovohrad regions. Regional teams equipped 22 shelters for evacuees. They created 1,304 spaces, 372 of which are inclusive.

2nd place, Civil Society Organization of the Year nomination based on the results of the expert evaluation and the results of the online voting. “Over four years, Rokada has scaled its work across 17 regions of Ukraine. We daily help internally displaced Ukrainians, people from vulnerable categories, veterans, and their families,” notes project manager Vitaliia Fedoseienko.

2nd place, Veteran Project of the Year nomination based on the results of the online voting, 3rd place based on the results of the expert evaluation.

Liliia Kotyk, the foundation’s regional coordinator in the Ternopil region, added that the high praise for Rokada’s work primarily reflects the effectiveness of assistance to people, the quality of implementing changes in communities, and the trust of partners.

“Any project we implement is, first and foremost, for the people and about the people. Behind each one lies the daily work of teams rooting for the success of every initiative, every story brought to us. That is exactly why we perceive any recognition as an incentive to work even better, to scale our resource and expertise,” she concludes.

Since 2020, the Golden Flipchart competition has been honoring those who drive the civil society sector forward and turn ideas into results.
