Supporting residents of frontline communities in winter: Rokada launches a new project in three regions

The project, supported by Medair and the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, aims to help residents of Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions cope not only with the challenges of war but also with seasonal ones – and prepare for winter.

Particular attention will also be given to residents of communities located 20–50 kilometres from the front line.

“It is important for us that humanitarian assistance is accessible both to internally displaced people and to local residents who remain in frontline communities. As winter approaches, heating and basic needs become especially pressing. That is why we combine winter assistance with protection services and psychosocial support. We seek not only to provide essential resources but also to help people cope with the everyday challenges of war at this difficult time. We are grateful to Medair and the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund for supporting this initiative.”
