Visitors to the VILNA space explored their own life strategies in conflicts through a psychological game

Visitors to the VILNA space in Sumy explored their own life strategies in conflicts through the psychological game “The Kaidash Family”. They were guided by Rokada gender-based violence specialist Olena Tykhonova.

“The game is useful because, in an informal atmosphere, participants can try on the roles of the characters, explore their motivations, personalities and behavioural strategies, and ultimately reflect on their own patterns. At the same time, the game helps to look at family conflicts through the lens of today’s challenges. These may be manifestations of gender-based violence disguised as familiar patterns of family behaviour,” explains Olena Tykhonova.

The project is implemented by the Rokada Charitable Foundation with the support of Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) in partnership with the Bukovinian Agency for Initiatives and Development (BAID) and Un Ponte Per ETS (UPP).
